This project involved a semi-detached house in Brentwood with a hipped roof.
The homeowner wanted to create a new master bedroom with en-suite, turning unused loft space into a practical and valuable addition to the property.
We carried out a hip-to-gable dormer loft conversion, which included raising the gable end, removing an existing chimney, and protecting the home with a full tin roof scaffolding system throughout the build.
This project ran smoothly with no major challenges thanks to the use of the tin roof scaffolding, which meant the home was fully protected against the weather.
Installed a dormer with Juliet balcony, maximising both space and natural light.
Added a new fire door to the loft, and upgraded the existing solid doors by painting and treating them to meet fire regulations — saving the client the cost of replacing all their doors.
The loft conversion created a fourth bedroom with en-suite in a highly desirable part of Brentwood.
The home now benefits from more usable living space, a modern finish, and an uplift in property value.

Brian and Chris have done an amazing job with our loft conversion. We couldn't be happier. We had a hip to gable loft conversion with en suite and a walk in wardrobe. Chris was always accommodating with any changes or tweaks we wanted. They're very quick and the loft was made well. Highly recommend Brian and Chris.
